FAQ

Questions about templates.

What is a Feather template?
A template is a designed style for your publication — its typography, composition and colour. You choose a style, and Feather sets your own words into it. A template chooses a look, not settings, so there's nothing fiddly to configure.
Do I need a paid plan for every template?
No. Every template is on every plan, including the free one, and so is every font. A paid plan changes what you can do with them: motion and video, translated captions, your brand kit, and exports that carry no Feather mark.
How do I use a template?
Open Create Post, paste an X post, and choose a template. Feather flows your words into the design and you export in seconds — no design tool to learn.
Can I apply my own brand?
Yes. Your Brand Kit — your logo, colours and handle — styles the publication alongside the template you choose, so your posts stay recognisably yours.
What formats can I export?
Story, Post and Square from any template, and a multi-card carousel from any of them too. Motion and video come with a paid plan. Every template exports at the size the surface expects.
Are these the real Feather templates?
Yes. Every card in the library is the real template, rendered at the size it exports at, with the same post set into each one. What you see is what you get.
