These Terms are an agreement between you and Alireza Sarinavaie (“Feather”, “we”, “us”). They cover your use of Feather at feathershots.com and its related apps and services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Feather turns a public post (tweet) from X (formerly Twitter) into a share-ready image or video card. You give us a public post link; we fetch that public post’s content and help you design and download a card from it.
Some features need an account. You sign in with Google. You are responsible for your account and for keeping access to your Google account secure. You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the Service.
Posts you turn into cards were written by other people and may include text, images, and video owned by the post’s author or by third parties. Feather does not own that content and does not grant you any rights to it. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to use a post before you download, publish, or share a card made from it — for example, the author’s permission or a valid basis such as fair use/fair dealing.
You must not use the Service to break the law, infringe someone’s copyright or other rights, harass anyone, or create misleading, hateful, or otherwise harmful content. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
If you believe a card or content on the Service infringes your rights, email us at support@feathershots.com with enough detail to identify the content and your claim. We will review and act where appropriate.
Feather offers a free plan and paid plans. Paid plans are sold and billed by Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record and is responsible for collecting any applicable sales tax or VAT. Billing is monthly or yearly. Prices are shown inclusive of any tax that applies to you before you subscribe, and subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel.
You can cancel at any time from your account, which opens Paddle’s customer portal; your paid features continue until the end of the period you already paid for. Except where the law requires a refund, payments are non-refundable. We may change prices or plan features; we will give reasonable notice of changes that affect an active subscription.
Cards made on the free plan may include a small Feather credit/watermark. Paid plans can remove it. You must not remove or hide the watermark on the free plan.
The Service itself — including the Feather name, design, templates, and software — belongs to us or our licensors. You may use it only as allowed by these Terms. The card you create is yours to use, subject to the third-party rights described in section 3.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do not promise the Service will always be available, error-free, or that fetched post data will always be accurate or complete (it comes from third parties). Your use is at your own risk.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Feather is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or use the Service in a way that could harm others or us. You can also request deletion of your account and data (see our Privacy Policy).
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, and disputes are subject to the courts of Germany, unless mandatory law in your country of residence says otherwise.
